Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned to the lineup for the team’s Week 13 matchup vs. the Buffalo Bills after sitting out last week, and is wearing a brace to protect his fractured left wrist. However, Rodgers left Sunday’s matchup following the first play from scrimmage in the second half after taking a violent hit.
Rodgers was sacked from behind by Joey Bosa, and fumbled the ball. It was picked up by Bills cornerback Christian Benford, and returned 17 yards for Buffalo’s first touchdown of the game. Rodgers was seen cradling his injured wrist on the ground, and also sustained a cut on his nose, which drew blood.
Check out what happened, here:
Rodgers completed 6 of 13 passes for 54 yards before exiting the game. He was replaced by Mason Rudolph, who threw an interception to Benford on his first series.
This is a developing story.
