KVSP Summer Walker seeks advice from Ciara on latest episode of ‘Over It Radio’ ahead of upcoming tour

With a new album, Finally Over It, on the way, Summer Walker will also soon be heading on tour. She confirmed the news on the latest episode of Over It Radio, where she sought advice from Ciara about how to tour with children.
“This will probably be my first tour that I am going to finish,” Summer said. “A full tour coming up, I won’t say the date. And I’ve just really been so nervous.”
“I need guidance on how to maneuver with them because, obviously, I’m not going to leave them. How do you tour with your kids?” she asked. Ciara responded, “It takes a village.”
Ciara shouted out her family and nannies for their help over the years, noting, “Everyone ends up being in it together, it’s like we’re all on tour together.” She added that while it’s “really challenging” to leave her kids for work, “there’s something so beautiful about them seeing us grind and seeing us do our thing.”
“Having my kids on tour with me this past summer I think really opened their eyes so they understand better what mommy’s doing because otherwise they’d be like, ‘You just be leaving,'” she said.
Elsewhere in the chat, Summer thanked Ciara for being a mentor to her and supporting her through her breakup with London on da Track, with whom she shares a daughter. Ciara also shared some marriage advice, emphasizing the importance of communication and dating.

Summer and Ciara previously collaborated on “Ciara’s Prayer.” The latter’s highly requested relationship prayer appears on Summer’s Still Over It album.
