The South Carolina State Bulldogs have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the The Citadel Bulldogs at 2 p.m. ET Nov. 28 at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Center. South Carolina State is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
It looks like South Carolina State got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They fell just short of the South Carolina Upstate Spartans by a score of 82-78. This is South Carolina State’s third heartbreak in a row against the Spartans following a 73-70 defeat in December of 2019.
As for The Citadel, it looks like they got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. Their painful 107-81 loss to the Duke Blue Devils on Monday might stick with them for a while. The Citadel was surely aware of their 26.5-point disadvantage in the point spread, but the foreknowledge did nothing to prevent the result. Guard Tyler Moffe had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 36 minutes but putting up just seven points on 3-for-11 shooting.
