This year’s Super Bowl festivities will include a special performance catered to fans in the metaverse. The NFL has teamed up with Saweetie for a free, virtual concert that will air on Roblox.
Taking place in Warner Music Group’s Rhythm City, the Saweetie Super Bowl Concert will see the rapper put on a “family-friendly” performance of hits including “Tap In.” It premieres February 10 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT and will air every hour until February 12.
“I’m really excited to bring this iconic moment to the metaverse and share my music with a whole new audience in such a unique way! As an artist, innovator, and football fan, to be able to perform during Super Bowl LVII weekend in this new world – Rhythm City on Roblox – is something I never imagined that I would be involved in. I am very grateful and happy about this opportunity,” Saweetie said in a statement. “I can’t wait for fans to experience what we’ve created.”
