The lineup for Afro Nation 2023 has been announced, and among this year’s headliners is Nigeria’s own Burna Boy. The star will be in Portimao, Portugal, this summer to perform at the event. He’s headlining alongside 50 Cent and French rapper Booba.
Afro Nation is slated to go down June 28-30, roughly a month after the inaugural U.S. iteration of the festival. Included in the first wave of performers are Asake, Fireboy DML, Black Sherif and Ms. Banks.
Tickets go on sale at 12 p.m. ET on January 26, with a limited presale beginning at 9 a.m.
Afro Nation is only one of the music festivals taking place in Portimao. Also announced is Rolling Loud Portugal, which will take place July 5-7.
Headlined by Travis Scott, Playboi Carti and Meek Mill, the festival will feature a star-studded lineup, including performances by GloRilla, Lil Durk, JID, Kodak Black, Latto, Joey Bada$$, NLE Choppa, Soulja Boy, Lil Uzi Vert and YG.
Tickets for that festival go on sale January 26 at 10 a.m GMT; presale starts at 1 p.m.
