LL Cool J announces first headlining tour in 30 years

It’s been three decades, but LL Cool J is finally heading out on the road. Rock The Bells and Live Nation Urban announced his headlining The Frequencies of Real Creative Energy Live tour, featuring a lineup of hip-hop stars DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Z-Trip and The Roots, who will back a nonstop musical mash-up of various performances. Salt-N-Pepa, Rakim, Common, Queen Latifah, Method Man & Redman, Big Boi, MC Lyte, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, De La Soul, Goodie Mob, Ice-T, Juvenile, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Jadakiss, Rick Ross and more will make appearances on select dates.
The F.O.R.C.E. Live kicks off in Boston’s TD Garden on June 25, making stops in Brooklyn, Atlanta, Chicago, New Orleans and more. It comes to an end on September 3 in LA’s Kia Forum. Tickets go on sale April 28 at 10 a.m. local time, with presales taking place April 25 through April 27.
