What to Know
The Quinnipiac Bobcats will be returning home after a two-game road trip. The Bobcats and the Monmouth Hawks will face off in an MAAC battle at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday at People’s United Center. Quinnipiac lost both of their matches to Monmouth last season on scores of 80-92 and 63-70, so they’re hoping to turn the tables this season.
Quinnipiac came up short against the St. Peter’s Peacocks on Friday, falling 83-74.
Meanwhile, Monmouth narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Fairfield Stags 59-56.
Monmouth’s win lifted them to 14-7 while Quinnipiac’s loss dropped them down to 11-9. We’ll see if Monmouth can repeat their recent success or if the Bobcats bounce back and reverse their fortune.
