Cardi B has another chance to complete the community service sentence she picked up in a plea deal stemming from a 2018 brawl.
According to TMZ, the rapper had until Tuesday, January 17, to complete 15 days of community service, none of which she’s done. Her deadline has since been extended to March 1.
“Personally and professionally, Cardi is dedicated to community service and charitable endeavors,” her attorney said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “She therefore appreciates the court giving her until March 1 to complete her community service commitment in Queens, New York.”
Cardi initially faced 12 charges connected to the 2018 incident at Angel’s Strip Club, in which she allegedly threw a hookah at two bartenders and ordered an attack on the one she believed was sleeping with her husband, Offset.
The Bronx rapper later pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges in exchange for a three-year order of protection from the women and 15 days of community service.
Her attorney tells the New York Post she will begin the mandatory service this week.
