Through 2 Quarters
The Green Bay Packers were expected to win this one, and so far that’s exactly how it’s playing out. They have emerged as the frontrunner at halftime and are ahead of the San Francisco 49ers 7 to nothing. Green Bay has been riding high on the performance of RB Aaron Jones, who has caught six passes for 120 yards.
Jones has led the way so far for the Packers, as he has caught six passes for 120 yards. This receiving effort made it the first game that Jones has posted more than 100 yards receiving.
Green Bay has been a nightmare for San Francisco’s offensive line with three sacks already. We’ll see how many sacks Green Bay can scare up the rest of the game.

What to Know
The Green Bay Packers earned an extra week of rest but are now set to enter the postseason fray. They will battle the San Francisco 49ers for a spot in the playoff semifinals at 8:15 p.m. ET Jan. 22 at Lambeau Field. San Francisco is strutting in off of a playoff win, while the Packers are coming in from a (inconsequential) regular-season defeat.
Green Bay was first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against the Detroit Lions two weeks ago. Green Bay fell to Detroit 37-30. WR Allen Lazard put forth a good effort for the losing side as he caught five passes for two TDs and 75 yards.
Meanwhile, San Francisco and the Dallas Cowboys couldn’t both get into the second round of the playoffs, and it was the 49ers who made the cut. San Francisco snuck past Dallas with a 23-17 win last week. The team ran away with 16 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the victory. San Francisco’s WR Deebo Samuel did his thing and punched in one rushing touchdown.
Special teams collected 11 points for San Francisco. K Robbie Gould delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
Green Bay is the favorite in this one, with an expected 5.5-point margin of victory. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (8-3), so they might be worth a quick bet.
A pair of stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Packers rank first in the league when it comes to thrown interceptions, with only seven on the season. As for the 49ers, they come into the matchup boasting the most forced fumbles in the NFL at 22.
