The Las Vegas Raiders didn’t put their best foot forward as they opened up the game against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 14.

On the first play from scrimmage, Josh Jacobs took the handoff from quarterback Derek Carr out to the left. After being bottled up, the back fumbled the football as he was being taken down by defensive tackle Jarran Reed. Cornerback Mike Hughs picked up the loose ball and proceeded to return it 23 yards for the touchdown to immediately put Las Vegas in a 7-0 hole.

That was just the beginning for the Raiders, who have started this game off sluggish as they punted on three-consecutive drives following that turnover in the first quarter. Meanwhile, the Chiefs have only added to their lead as Darrel Williams caught a 23-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes to go up 14-0 midway through the opening quarter.

These issues come after an interesting move by the club just prior to kickoff. Following their pregame warmup, the Raiders initially met as a team as a team around the 25-yard line. However, the group would then proceed to relocate the team huddle to midfield on top of the Chiefs logo, which was met with a chorus of boos from the fans at Arrowhead.

Not the best look, especially after handing the Chiefs seven points and opening the game out completely flat on both sides of the ball.
