Here’s some new releases for New Music Friday.
Latto ft. Lu Kala, “Lottery” — The rapper’s dropped the upbeat track alongside a music video. As she said when teasing the song earlier this month, “Pop Latto has entered the chat.”
Flo Milli, “Nasty Dancer” — In the video for the new track, Flo reenacts iconic scenes from reality shows like Flavor of Love and Love and Hip-Hop.
Big Scarr, The Secret Weapon — As Gucci Mane promised, his protégé’s posthumous album is out. He makes an appearance, as do Pooh Shiesty, Key Glock and more.
Metro Boomin, Heroes & Villains (Villains Version) — Following the releases of the original and Heroes versions of the album, this one features the original 15 tracks, as well as ChoppedNotSlopped mixes of all the songs.
Masego, “Two Sides” — The song and video are odes to Masego’s astrological sign, so he calls it “the Gemini anthem.” In the visual, he introduces us to the different sides of him, “The Double Dater” and “The Teacher.”
Don Toliver ft. Kali Uchis, “4 Me” — The song features Don’s girlfriend and samples Beenie Man‘s “Girls Dem Sugar.” “The story of this song is the feeling of just me wanting to have fun, me wanting to really have a moment with my girl,” he tells Zane Lowe.
Key Glock, “Work” — The song finds Glock rapping about his determination to grind and succeed despite hardships and losses, which include Young Dolph‘s passing.
Polo G and Future, “No Time Wasted” — After joining the Future on his One Big Party Tour, the rapper’s tapped him for their first collaboration, and his first release of 2023.
DJ Drama, A Boogie, Lil Baby, “HO4ME” — Drama’s been working on Gangsta Grillz mixtapes, but this song is to appear on his forthcoming album, I’m Really Like That.
